Edulantern.com - John Hamel MacGregor Awards have been established by the Trustees of the John Hamel MacGregor Trust to support medical students who wish to pursue a BMedSci or postgraduate research degree in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland.
John Hamel MacGregor Awards will be available to students undertaking a medical degree at the University of Auckland who are enrolled and who have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees, for the Degree of Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) or for a postgraduate research degree offered by the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland before completing their MBChB.
The University of Auckland is ranked within the top 100 of the QS World University Rankings, making it New Zealand’s highest ranked university. It is also the largest and most comprehensive. The University’s student population includes 7,000 international students representing over 120 countries.
Benefits:
There will be up to five awards. Each Award will be tenable for one academic year and will be of the value of up to $10,000. Part-time students will be paid pro-rata.
